intruder prevention to Wraps & Tints
Meeting insurance requirements
Wraps and Tints are a leading installer of car wrap, tint and paint protection films, based in Lancashire. One of their areas of expertise is in high-performance cars. As the company was going from strength to strength, they needed to move into larger premises to meet increasing customer demand, in a smarter and more professional working environment.
The challenge: removing growing security pains
With larger operations, comes larger responsibility. A more advanced setup, an increased number of supercars and high-end vehicles on site, and more stringent insurance requirements made an intruder alarm system a key requirement for the new premises.
After initially employing a small, local security company - who were unable to deliver a system meeting the certification needed by Wraps & Tints’ insurance company - Jonathan Burke, Director of Wraps & Tints, approached Securitas Technology for help.
The Solution
Following a risk assessment of the building content and structure, Securitas Technology technicians installed an intruder alarm system incorporating dual technology detectors; door contacts; and roller shutter contacts, which interconnected and fed back to a control panel.
In addition, an ongoing maintenance contract was put in place, to ensure the system always delivers top performance.
The result
The new intruder alarm system enabled Wraps & Tints to cost-effectively meet insurance requirements, which means the company can press ahead with growing the business.
“The new intruder alarm system meets our insurer’s requirements, and I am now able to focus on continuing to grow the business as I know the property and its contents are well protected.”
