In 2026, Juha Pieviläinen, Commercial Manager at Securitas Technology Oy in Finland, was selected as a recipient of this scholarship. His recognition reflects not only strong performance, but a consistent commitment to growth, integrity, and innovation.
Juha’s story includes a defining moment that highlights Securitas Technology’s values in action. While on summer vacation, he was contacted by Finnish Police regarding a serious incident at a client site. By carefully verifying the request, ensuring the proper legal process was followed, and securing critical evidence from the site’s system, he demonstrated integrity in doing what is right, vigilance in staying attentive to a critical situation, and helpfulness in supporting both the client and law enforcement. These actions reflect the values-based culture that guides every decision we make and reinforce our role in helping make the world a safer place.
At the same time, Juha has played an important role in advancing technology and innovation in Finland. His work spans cloud-based solutions, mobile access control, and AI-driven tools, contributing to the evolution of how we support customers in a rapidly changing industry. As part of his scholarship experience, Juha traveled to France for an international study visit, where he spent time with colleagues at the Ivry-sur-Seine office and monitoring centre.
